28 policemen honoured

In a remarkable display of efficiency and teamwork, the Haryana Police have honoured 28 police personnel for successfully rescuing a kidnapped boy within just 11 hours of his abduction. The swift operation was carried out by multiple police teams, whose coordinated efforts ensured the child’s safe recovery and the arrest of the accused.

According to police officials, the incident began when a young boy was kidnapped by unidentified individuals. As soon as information about the abduction was received, senior officers mobilised teams and launched an intensive search operation. Using technical surveillance, CCTV footage analysis, intelligence gathering and field investigations, police tracked the movement of the kidnappers across several locations.

The operation continued throughout the day and night, with officers working under significant pressure to ensure the child’s safety. Within 11 hours of the kidnapping, police successfully traced the accused, rescued the boy unharmed and reunited him with his family. The quick response prevented the criminals from carrying out any further plans and demonstrated the effectiveness of Haryana Police’s emergency response mechanisms.

Recognising their outstanding service, Haryana Director General of Police (DGP) Shatrujeet Kapur announced rewards and commendations for the 28 policemen involved in the operation. The honoured personnel included officers from investigation units, cyber and technical teams, local police stations and supervisory ranks who contributed to the successful rescue mission.
