Hisar: A surprising family dispute came to light after a man from Haryana’s Hisar claimed that his wife secretly married her boyfriend in Rajasthan. According to the husband, he learned about the wedding only after seeing a WhatsApp status shared by someone. He immediately rushed to the wedding venue, where a heated argument reportedly took place.
The husband alleged that he had been married to the woman for nearly 20 years and that the couple has two children. He claimed his wife left the family home and later married another man without obtaining a legal divorce.
According to the husband’s complaint, he was shocked to see the wedding-related status on social media. After confirming the location, he traveled to Rajasthan in an attempt to stop the marriage. However, by the time he reached the venue, the wedding rituals had already been completed.
The incident reportedly led to a confrontation between both sides, after which local authorities were informed. No major law-and-order issue was reported.
The husband has alleged that his wife abandoned their two children and chose to live with her boyfriend. He has sought legal action, claiming the marriage took place while their first marriage remains legally valid.
