Chandigarh, June 10: The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) has officially announced the schedule for the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2026, bringing relief and clarity to thousands of teaching aspirants across the state. Candidates preparing for government teaching positions in Haryana can now plan their studies according to the revised examination timetable.
The HTET is one of the most important eligibility examinations for candidates seeking teaching jobs in primary, trained graduate teacher (TGT), and postgraduate teacher (PGT) categories in Haryana. The examination is conducted by the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) to assess the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in government and government-aided schools.
According to the official notification, candidates are advised to regularly visit the board’s website for updates regarding application forms, admit cards, examination centers, and other important instructions. The board has also urged applicants to carefully review the eligibility criteria and examination guidelines before submitting their applications.
Education experts believe that the early announcement of the examination schedule will help candidates manage their preparation more effectively. Coaching institutes across Haryana have also started special preparation batches for HTET aspirants.
