Thirty students from the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kurukshetra University, have secured employment during a campus placement drive conducted by G Laboratories Pvt. Ltd., Karnal. The recruitment drive offered promising career opportunities to students pursuing pharmacy courses.
According to university officials, a total of 85 students from the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) programmes registered for the interview process. Following multiple rounds of selection, 30 students were offered jobs with annual salary packages ranging from ₹2 lakh to ₹5 lakh.
Congratulating the selected candidates, Kurukshetra University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Som Nath Sachdeva said that skill-based education is creating better employment opportunities for students and helping them meet the evolving demands of the pharmaceutical industry. He encouraged students to continue upgrading their professional skills to build successful careers.
The campus placement drive was organised by G Laboratories Pvt. Ltd., Karnal, as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to strengthen industry-academia collaboration and improve students’ career prospects.
The event was attended by Dean of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences Prof. Jitendra Sharma, Director Prof. Neera Raghav, Placement Coordinator Dr. Rakesh Pahwa, and Dr. Gurvinder Singh, who congratulated the selected students and wished them success in their professional journey.
The successful placement drive reflects Kurukshetra University’s continued focus on enhancing employability through quality education, industry partnerships, and practical training opportunities for its students.
