Somnath Swabhiman Parv Reflects India’s Cultural Pride and Unity: Shruti Choudhry

Bhiwani: On the occasion of “Somnath Swabhiman Parv,” Haryana Irrigation Minister Shruti Choudhry said that the celebration symbolizes India’s cultural unity, heritage, and self-respect.

A photo exhibition organized at Jogiwala Temple in Bhiwani drew significant attention from local residents and visitors. The event was attended by Bhiwani MLA Ghanshyam Saraf and Bawani Khera MLA Kapoor Singh Valmiki along with several dignitaries and members of the public.

During the program, Minister Shruti Choudhry, the MLAs, and attendees participated virtually in the live address of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.

Addressing the gathering, Shruti Choudhry assured that there would be no shortage of canal water in South Haryana. She stated that the Public Health Department has been instructed to enhance its capacity to ensure water reaches storage tanks and water houses efficiently through canal networks.

Speaking on the ongoing strike by sanitation workers, the minister said the issue would soon be discussed with the Labour Department and efforts would be made to resolve the matter at the earliest.

Commenting on the recent Bengal elections, she described the outcome as a historic victory and credited the success to the hard work and coordinated efforts of the Prime Minister, the Union Home Minister, and party workers.

On the question of building a strong opposition, Shruti Choudhry remarked that opposition parties would need to work harder at the grassroots level to reconnect with the public. Targeting the Congress party, she said weak leadership and lack of consistent ground-level efforts have created a significant gap between the party and the people.
