The Members of the Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum (CGRF) of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam will make extensive visits in the month of April, 2021
- Chandigarh, March 31 – The Members of the Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum (CGRF) of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam will make extensive visits in the month of April, 2021 for hearing grievances of the consumers and to entertain new complaints.
- Giving further information, an official spokesperson said that the proceedings of the CGRF will be held in OP Division, Pundri (Kaithal) on April 02, OP Division, Samalkha (Panipat) on April 5, OP Division, Bahadurgarh (Jhajjar) on April 5, OP Division, Jagadhri (Yamuna Nagar) on April 7, OP S/U Division No.-I, Karnal on April 9, OP Division, Pehowa (Kurukshetra) on April 12, OP City Division Rohtak on April 13, OP Division Panchkula on April 16, OP Division, Beri (Jhajjar) on April 19, OP City Division Sonipat on April 20, OP Division, Gohana (Sonipat) on April 23,OP S/U Division No.-I, Rohtak on April 26, OP City Division Karnal on April 27, OP Division Ambala City on April 28 and OP City Division Panipat on April 30 respectively.
- He said that the CGRF shall take all grievances/complaints of consumers like billing problems, voltage complaints, problems in metering, disconnection and reconnection of power supply, interruptions, failure of power supply, efficiency, safety, reliability, non-compliance of Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission orders etc. However, the cases of theft and unauthorized use of electricity, offenses, and penalties as specified under section 126 and section 135 to 139 of Electricity Act, accidents and inquiries as under section 161 of the Act would not be considered by the Forum.
