CM expresses grief over demise of Santosh Shailja

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has expressed grief over the demise of Santosh Shailja, wife of former Chief Minister Shanta Kumar who died in wee hours today at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College Tanda in district Kangra.  She was 83 years.
In his condolence message, Jai Ram Thakur said that with her death, State had lost an educationist, writer and social worker who devoted her whole life for the welfare of vulnerable sections of the society.
Chief Minister prayed the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss.
