Indian Army Organised Doda Cricket League Concluded

With an aim to engage the youth in a right way in this present situation of Jammu and Kashmir, Army was organised “Doda Cricket League” at sports stadium Doda concluded today here.
Major 10RR Anchal, other Army Officer, Sarpanches and large number of gathering were present. This Cricket League was organised by Indian Army 10RR unit Doda under Sadbhavana. At least 12 teams from Doda district participated and the final match was played between Bhaderwah vs Bharat Doda in which Bharat Doda won the toss and choose to bat first and set a target 136 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. In reply Bhaderwah chase the target in the last over and won the final with 2 wickets.
The winners and the runners-up teams were presented the trophies and prize money of Rs 50, 000 and Rs 300,000 respectively. Trophies along with a cash prize of Rs 5,000 were presented to the Best Batsman, Best Bowler and the Man of Series.Four teams which qualified for the semi finals were also presented with sportswear.
