Shubman Gill has finally talked about not being in Indias squad for the 2026 T20 World Cup. He did not show that he was frustrated or sad. Instead Shubman Gill said he respects the decision of the people who pick the team. Shubman Gill said that every cricketer wants to play for India in a World Cup. He knows that the team is chosen based on what the people in charge think is best.
Shubman Gill said that he believes every player has their path. He has faith in the work he does. Shubman Gill thinks that what is meant to happen will happen at the time. He said that no one can change what is supposed to happen.
The people who pick the team chose based on how the team works how they did in the last T20 games and what they wanted for the tournament. There are good batsmen so Shubman Gill did not make it to the final team. Many fans and old cricketers were surprised that Shubman Gill was not in the team.. The people who pick the team thought other players were better for the plan.
Even though Shubman Gill is not in the T20 World Cup team he is still one of the young cricketers in India. He is important in the ODI and Test games. Will play a big role in Indias future games. People like how he reacted because it shows he is professional, patient and believes in himself.
