Hooda’s ‘in touch’ remark fuels talk of Captain Amarinder Singh’s possible return to Congress ahead of Punjab polls

Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that he is still in touch with Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh. This led people to think that Captain Amarinder Singh might go back to the Congress party before the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections.

People started talking about this because Captain Amarinder Singh was not happy with the way the BJP is working in Punjab. He also said some things about the time he spent with Congress leaders.

Some leaders from the Punjab Congress said they would be happy to have Captain Amarinder Singh if he wanted to return. The BJP leaders said that just because they talk to each other it does not mean anything. They said that leaders from parties are friends and talk to each other.

Captain Amarinder Singh also said that the rumors were not true. He said he is not going to leave the BJP and go back to the Congress. He said the reports were false and that he is still with the BJP.
