Philippines Protests Chinese Presence in South China Sea, Lodges Diplomatic Complaint

The Philippines has lodged a diplomatic protest against China after discovering a floating structure in a disputed area of the South China Sea. The move marks the latest development in the ongoing maritime dispute between the two countries.

According to Philippine officials, the floating structure was found in waters that Manila considers part of its exclusive economic zone (EEZ). Authorities expressed concern that the installation could affect navigation and undermine the country’s sovereign rights in the region.

Diplomatic Protest Filed
