A tragic accident near the Haryana–Uttar Pradesh border has raised serious concerns over road safety after a biker reportedly died after falling from an unfinished stretch of road that allegedly lacked warning signs, barricades, and proper lighting.
According to initial information, the incident occurred on a poorly marked and incomplete road section in the border area between Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. The rider, who was traveling on the route during late hours, reportedly failed to notice the abrupt end or missing portion of the road and plunged off the elevated stretch, resulting in fatal injuries.
Locals say the area where the accident took place has been under construction for some time but was not properly secured for public movement. Residents have alleged that there were no adequate safety arrangements such as caution boards, reflective signage, or barricades to warn commuters about the unfinished road portion, especially during nighttime.
