pune attack

Fresh developments have emerged in the Pune realtor murder case. Police claim the accused planned the crime over several months. Investigators say phone records, CCTV footage and digital evidence have helped uncover the alleged conspiracy.

Police Find More Than 2,000 Calls

According to investigators, the victim’s fiancée and her alleged lover exchanged 2,004 phone calls over six months. Police say they spent nearly 238 hours talking to each other during this period.

Officials believe these conversations helped the accused plan the crime. The call records became one of the biggest pieces of evidence during the investigation.

Secret Café Meeting Before the Incident

Police claim the accused met at a café on June 18 before travelling to Lohagad Fort. Investigators say they discussed the final details of the plan during this meeting.

Authorities allege that the victim, Ketan Agarwal, was invited to the fort under the pretext of an outing. Police say one of the accused later pushed him into a deep gorge.

Investigators Reconstruct the Timeline

The investigation suggests the accused tried to make the incident appear as an accidental fall. However, officers recovered CCTV footage, mobile phone records and witness statements that helped them rebuild the sequence of events.

Police also suspect this was not the first attempt. Investigators believe earlier plans failed before the final incident took place.

Police Continue the Investigation

Both accused have been arrested and charged with murder. Police are examining electronic devices and other digital evidence to determine the complete motive behind the alleged conspiracy.

Investigators are also questioning witnesses and collecting more evidence. Officials say the investigation remains active and further developments are expected.
