Chandigarh: After bringing intermittent showers to several parts of the state, the southwest monsoon has weakened across Haryana, leading to rising humidity and uncomfortable weather conditions. While most districts are expected to experience hot and humid days over the next few days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light rainfall in some northern districts, offering limited relief from the heat.
Weather experts said the temporary weakening of monsoon activity has reduced rainfall across much of the state. As a result, temperatures have started to climb again, and moisture in the air has increased, making conditions feel more uncomfortable than the actual temperature.
Humidity Levels Rise Across the State
Residents in many parts of Haryana have experienced high humidity over the past few days. Even though daytime temperatures remain close to seasonal averages, the increased moisture in the atmosphere has made the weather feel much warmer.
