Haryana NEET-UG 2026 Topper Panshul Bansal Secures AIR 2
Haryana's Panshul Bansal Emerges as NEET-UG 2026 Topper, Secures AIR 2

Haryana has once again made the state proud after Panshul Bansal secured All India Rank (AIR) 2 in the NEET-UG 2026 examination. Scoring an impressive 715 out of 720 marks, Panshul shared the highest score in the country alongside Punjab’s Aryan Gupta. However, under the National Testing Agency’s (NTA) tie-breaking criteria, he was officially placed at AIR 2.

The NEET-UG 2026 results were announced following a nationwide re-examination conducted by the NTA. More than 11.21 lakh candidates qualified for admission to undergraduate medical courses across India, with only 19 candidates scoring above 700 marks, highlighting the intense competition this year.

Panshul’s remarkable performance has been widely celebrated across Haryana. His achievement reflects months of disciplined preparation and consistent hard work, making him one of the country’s highest-performing medical aspirants. His success is expected to inspire thousands of students preparing for competitive examinations in the state.

Education experts noted that the 2026 examination was conducted after the original NEET exam was cancelled due to a paper leak controversy. Despite the uncertainty, Panshul maintained his focus and delivered an outstanding performance in the re-examination, demonstrating resilience under pressure.

The Haryana government, educational institutions, and coaching centres have congratulated Panshul Bansal on his achievement, calling it a proud moment for the state. His success reinforces Haryana’s growing reputation for producing top-ranking candidates in national competitive examinations.
