Patiala: Patiala’s young achiever Noor Singla has brought pride to the city by securing All India Rank 1 in the Chartered Accountancy (CA) Final Examination 2026. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announced the CA Final May 2026 results, where Noor achieved the top position with an outstanding score.
Noor scored 499 marks out of 600, becoming the highest scorer across India in the CA Final examination. His remarkable achievement has earned appreciation from people across Patiala and Punjab.
Noor belongs to a middle-class family. His father, Gagandeep Singla, is a businessman, while his mother, Sujata Singla, is a homemaker. He completed his schooling from DAV Public School, Patiala, and later earned a B.Com degree in Accounting and Finance from Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi.
After completing senior secondary education in 2022, Noor focused on self-study to prepare for the CA journey. He credited his elder sister, who is also a Chartered Accountant, for providing guidance and motivation throughout his preparation.
Noor had earlier secured All India Rank 2 in the CA Intermediate examination. With his latest success in the CA Final exam, he has added another major milestone to his academic journey.
The achievement has created a wave of happiness in Patiala, with educational institutions, social groups, and business communities congratulating Noor for his historic success.
