FIR registered against four as police investigate alleged ATM cash withdrawal and motorcycle snatching.

Panchkula Police have registered a case against four individuals after a youth alleged that he was robbed of cash and his motorcycle following an encounter with a woman who had requested a lift. The incident, which is currently under investigation, has raised concerns about crimes involving deception and theft in public places.

According to the complaint lodged by the victim, the incident began when a woman approached him and asked for a lift. The complainant alleged that after he agreed to help, the woman directed him to a location where other individuals became involved. He claimed that the situation quickly escalated, leaving him vulnerable to intimidation and robbery.

The youth alleged that he was subsequently taken to an ATM, where he was forced to withdraw approximately ₹22,000 from his bank account. He further stated that after the cash was handed over, the accused also took possession of his motorcycle before fleeing the scene. The exact sequence of events and circumstances surrounding the alleged robbery are being examined by investigators.

Police officials confirmed that an FIR has been registered against four accused persons under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Authorities said the allegations are being thoroughly investigated and that efforts are underway to identify and apprehend all individuals involved.

As part of the investigation, police teams are reviewing CCTV footage from the area, collecting evidence, and recording statements from the complainant and potential witnesses. Officials are also working to trace the motorcycle and recover any stolen property linked to the case.

A senior police official stated that all aspects of the complaint are being verified and that action will be taken based on the evidence gathered during the investigation. The official also urged citizens to remain cautious while interacting with strangers and to immediately report any suspicious activity to law enforcement authorities.

The case has highlighted broader concerns regarding crimes involving deception, coercion, and misuse of public trust. Security experts often advise individuals to exercise caution when offering assistance to unknown persons, particularly in isolated locations or situations that appear unusual.

Police have appealed to members of the public who may have information related to the incident to come forward and assist the investigation. Authorities have assured that every effort is being made to identify the accused and ensure that the matter is investigated fairly and thoroughly.

The investigation remains ongoing, and officials have stated that further details will be released as more information becomes available.
