Haryana Minister Seeks FIR Against Ansal API; Kurukshetra Officials Ordered to Probe Complaints

Haryana Cabinet Minister Vipul Goel has directed officials in Kurukshetra to register an FIR against real estate developer Ansal API if alleged irregularities are established during the investigation. The minister issued the directions while reviewing complaints related to the company’s projects in the district.

During a meeting with district officials in Kurukshetra, Goel stressed that the interests of homebuyers and plot owners must be safeguarded. He said the Haryana government is committed to maintaining transparency and accountability in the real estate sector and that no violation of rules or fraud will be tolerated.

The minister instructed the Kurukshetra district administration to thoroughly investigate complaints submitted by residents and investors. Officials have also been asked to prepare a detailed report on the status of Ansal API’s projects, pending development works, and compliance with government regulations.

Goel said the state government follows a zero-tolerance policy against irregularities in housing and urban development projects. He added that any developer found violating regulations or misleading buyers would face strict legal action.

Residents in Kurukshetra who have been raising concerns over delayed development and other issues welcomed the government’s intervention. They expressed hope that the investigation would help resolve long-pending grievances related to infrastructure, possession, and promised amenities.

The Kurukshetra district administration has started examining the complaints, and further legal action, including the registration of an FIR, will be taken based on the findings of the investigation and in accordance with the law.
