Man Killed After Being Hit by Train Near Radha Soami Dera in Rama Mandi, Bathinda
Emergency responders carrying an injured railway accident victim on a stretcher outside a government hospital in Rama Mandi, Bathinda.

Bathinda : A tragic incident was reported from Rama Mandi in Bathinda district, where a man lost his life after being struck by a train near the Radha Soami Dera on Thursday.

According to information received, the victim sustained severe injuries after coming under a moving train. Upon receiving the alert, members of the social service organization Helpline Welfare Society, including President Bobby Lahiri, along with volunteers Rinka Mistry and Kala Bhangi, rushed to the scene and provided immediate assistance.

The injured man was transported by ambulance to the Government Hospital in Rama Mandi, where medical staff provided first aid treatment. Due to the critical nature of his injuries, he was referred to the Government Hospital in Talwandi Sabo for advanced medical care.

However, despite efforts by doctors, the victim succumbed to his injuries. Medical authorities at Talwandi Sabo Government Hospital declared him dead upon examination.

The deceased has been identified as Dalip, son of Suresh Kumar, a resident of Lakhimpur, Uttar Pradesh. The circumstances leading to the accident have not yet been officially disclosed, and further investigation is expected to determine the exact cause of the incident.

The unfortunate event has cast a shadow of grief over the local community, while residents have appreciated the prompt response of the Helpline Welfare Society volunteers who assisted during the emergency.
